The L’Chaim Care Team, provided by Catholic Hospice, was established to meet the unique needs of our Jewish community. Since 2003, the L’Chaim Care Team has provided compassionate support to patients and their families, ensuring that their chosen expressions of Judaism are honored and respected, guided by their traditions and spiritual needs.
Services
The L’Chaim Care Team is well-versed in Jewish laws and traditions, prepared to serve the Jewish community with respect and understanding across the full spectrum of Jewish culture and religious practices. Whether in the comfort of your home or at one of Catholic Hospice’s inpatient care centers (ICC), the L’Chaim Care Team will honor and respect your traditions and cultural practices every step of the way.
Eligibility
Services provided by The L’Chaim Care Team are included under Catholic Hospice, covered by most insurance plans, as well as Medicare and Medicaid.

L’Chaim celebrates Chanukah with the Community
During this past holiday season, Rabbi David Gold represented L’Chaim as he was invited by chaplains of the Veteran Affairs Hospital, University of Miami Sylvester Cancer Center, Mercy Hospital, and Jackson Memorial Hospital to arrange a Chanukah celebration.
